Words can not express my deepest sympathies on the untimely passing of a dear childhood friend, Joanie. My condolences to the family from a fellow Canadian island camper, always remembering "Cabin Cruiser Rock". God bless.....

Joan, how I am going to miss your smile, your voice, your email and just chatting with you. I want to thank you for caring not only for me when I needed you the most, but for the FPCB congregation. I treasured our time together working side by side for so many years and I am going to really miss that. Thank you for the laughter, the love and the fun times. So happy to celebrate your and Don anniversary. Thank you for including me in your wonderful family celebration. Rest in Peace Joan and I will see you in the other side. Missing you big time... Yovita

Pastor Joan, it was always a joy to worship and serve our Lord together with you at the First United Methodist Presbyterian Church in Ashland. Rejoicing that you are now free from pain and in the presence of our Lord.

So sorry for the loss of Joan. She was an inspiring woman. My greatest memories were of our family work weekends at Camp Brainerd with our grandkids and how kind she was to them!

Joan was one of God's special angels on earth. She taught me so much about the love of God and His unending forgiveness. I will remember her wonderful laugh, until I hear it again in heaven.
