Obituary for Albert J. Fodero

Albert J. Fodero, 63, of Bethlehem Township, passed away peacefully in his home on July 21, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Maria (Sousa) Fodero. Together they shared 28 years of marriage. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Salvatore and Angeline (Diuro) Fodero. Over the years he worked at Babba's Sewing Co., and later opened his own company, Paula's Father's Textile Company, which later became Saucon Valley Thread Company after he sold it several years ago. He then opened Magna Cleaners in Allentown, which he continued to operate. He is a member of Incarnation of Our Lord Parish, Bethlehem.

Survivors: in addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Vincent S. Fodero of Bethlehem; Angelina Maria Fodero of Bethlehem; Paula Marie Fodero-Smalls of Bethlehem; brothers Joseph Fodero, Franklin Fodero; sisters, Kathryn Nichols, Nancy Pearl, Roberta Cherkis, Clara Bauder, Marie Rummel and a granddaughter, Madison Nuszer. He was preceded in death by a brother Salvatore Fodero and sister, Helen Golomb.

Services: A blessing service followed by a luncheon celebrating Albert’s life will be held on Friday, July 24th at 11:00 a.m. at the Meadows Banquet Hall, 1770 Meadows Rd, Hellertown, PA 18055.
