Julio Castro, 79, of Bethlehem, entered eternal life on December 8, 2017, just 2 days short of his 80th birthday. Born in San Juan, P.R., he was a son of the late Angel Castro and Bernalda Febo. He was the beloved husband of Mariana Diaz Figuiera with whom he shared 55 years of marriage and were together for 58 years. After college in Puerto Rico he was an accountant for many years until retiring. He was of the Roman Catholic faith.

Survivors: He is survived by his children, son, Julio Castro Jr. and daughter, Carmen Castro both of Bethlehem; 2 brothers, 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers.

Services: Services will be in San Juan, Puerto Rico at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the James Funeral Home, Bethlehem, PA.
