Alan Robert Ornstein, 73, of Whitehall, Passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2020, in Gracedale Nursing Home where he was receiving hospice care. He was the beloved husband of Barbara (Goldfield) Ornstein with whom he shared 47 years of marriage. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Mack and Lorraine (Love) Ornstein.
he attended Lincoln High School in Philadelphia, graduating in 1964. He last worked as a van driver for many years for Dave's Limousine Service in Philadelphia before retiring. He was of the Jewish faith.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, Barbara, he is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Kochenash and her husband, Stephen of Nazareth; son, Mark Ornstein and his wife, Bridget of Michigan; sister, Barbara Ornstein of Philadelphia and 4 grandchildren, Sidney, Maxwell, Nathaniel and Jack.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to join the family in celebrating Alan's memory on Sunday, February 16, 2020 from 1-4:00 P.M. at Stefano's Restaurant, 2970 Linden Street, Bethlehem PA 8017. Following the celebration, the family will return to the home of Elizabeth and Stephen Kochenash in Nazareth, where relatives and friends may gather beginning at 5:00 P.M. for continued remembrance.
