Avis L. Gordon, 102, of Bethlehem, passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021 in Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. Born in Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late Charles T. and Helen (Fischer) Gordon. She graduated from Moravian College in 1941 with a BA in Business and worked in accounting most of her life retiring from St. Clair Associates in Pottsville.
She was an active member of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem.

Survivors: Although she was preceded in death by most of her family, she is survived by second cousin, Karen Petrie and family of Arizona; friend, Judy Nakamaru and family of Hawaii; friend and caregiver, Rebecca James and family of Palmerton; as well as her friends at Moravian House and her Church family.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 9:30-10:30 A.M. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 A.M. all in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center St. Bethlehem. Burial will be in Nisky Hill Cemetery.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Cathedral Church of the Nativity, 321 Wyandotte Street, Bethlehem, PA 18015, would be appreciated.
