Denise Lynn Douros Croke was born May 11, 1960 in Springfield, MA and passed away peacefully October 25, 2019 while with loved ones. She was 59 years old and a resident of Jackson, PA.

Denise grew up in Oak Park, MI and Fort Lee, NJ with her parents Lee and Pauline Douros, and her younger brother Ron Douros. She was a graduate of Fort Lee High (1978) and Rider University (1990), where she studied art, psychology, and journalism. Her interests were varied and included the arts, music, poetry, creativity and life coaching, and nature.

Survivors: She is survived by her fiancée’ Michael Mellott, her brother Ron, her niece Sarah, cousins, uncles, and her dog ‘Chance’.

Services: A private service for family and close friends will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to James Funeral Home, Bethlehem.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Saint Luke’s Hospice House C/O Development Office, 801 Ostrum St. Bethlehem, PA 18015 and/or The National Multiple Sclerosis Society at nationalmssociety.org
