Evelyn Hermine Jacobs, 97, of Bethlehem, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2022 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. She was the beloved wife of the late Kermit Jacobs Sr. with whom she shared 54 years of marriage before his passing in 1998. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Adolph and Mary (Karner) Derwanz. She worked in various silk mills as a pattern maker for many years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Palmer Twp.

Survivors: She is survived by her sons, Kermit Jacobs Jr. (Betty) of Bethlehem, Richard Jacobs (Marilyn) of Bethlehem, sister, Henrietta Toland of Bethlehem, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Violet Schroeter.
