Obituary for James G. "Jim" Tucker

James Gerard Tucker, 84, of Hellertown, passed away peacefully in his home on Saturday, November 13, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Caroline Ann (Martin) Tucker with whom he shared 38 years together. Born in Wilkes Barre PA, he was a son of David J. and Marjorie (Corrigan) Tucker. Jim, proudly served in the U. S. Marine Corp from July 1955 to July 1959. He worked as an insurance broker for many years before retiring and worked most notably for Allstate and Alexander and Alexander - now Aon Insurance Co. Jim, was an active member of Assumption BVM Catholic Church in Bethlehem and served as a collection counter and greeter over the years.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, Caroline, he is also survived by a daughter, Joanna R. Ford and her husband, William of Hernando FL; brother, John Tucker of Palm Springs FL; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, James Tucker and brothers, David Tucker, Robert Tucker and Paul Tucker.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 10:00-11:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM all in the Assumption of the BVM Catholic Church, 4101 Old Bethlehem Pike, Bethlehem. Burial of cremated remains will take place on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 10:30 AM at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, Bucks County. Arrangements entrusted to James Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
