Kenneth C. Snyder III, 58, of Bethlehem, passed away suddenly on Thursday morning, February 27, 2020, in St. Luke's Hospital - Anderson Campus, after being stricken at home. He was the beloved husband of Kirsten (Mellicent) Snyder, with whom he shared 29 years of marriage. Born in Easton he was the son of Kenneth Snyder Jr. (Ann Marie) of Palmer Twp. and Joellyn (Jiorle) Meehan of Bethlehem. Kenneth, attended Penn State University and Moravian College and had a Bachelor and Master's degrees in Science. He had also been working on his Doctorate degree in Physics at Lehigh University, where he had also taught in the past. Currently he was teaching Physics at Muhlenberg College, where he has also been a member of the faculty for the last 28 years.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, Kirsten; father, Kenneth, stepmother Ann Marie and mother, Joellyn, he is survived by his son, Kenneth C. Snyder IV of Bethlehem; stepdaughters, Amber L. Steidinger of Bethlehem; Brittany L. Taylor (Jeffrey) of Georgia; sisters and brothers, Penny Thomas (Robert) of Shippensbug; Matthew Hosterman (Anne) of Bethlehem, Krista McAlarnen (Raymond) of Hillsbrough, NJ; David Snyder (Carrie) of Kendall Park, NJ; and 5 grandchildren.
