Obituary for Luis Roberto Perez Amador

Luis R. Perez Amador, 69 of Bethlehem, lost his battle with COVID19 on Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Mary Scott-Perez with whom he shared 37 years of marriage. Born and raised in San Juan, P.R., he was a son of Luis Perez and Ana Amador and stepson of Julio Alonso. He served in the U. S. Army for 28 years retiring as Sargent First Class in 1990. He was a member of the NCOA, enjoyed watching the Yankees, playing solitaire, and watching old war movies. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and especially time with his grandsons who were his pride and joy.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, Mary, he is survived by his children, Luis R. Perez Aponte (Irelys) of P.R.; Marissa Laub (Matthew) of Breinigsville; Marcus Perez of SC (fiance', Erica Regan); brother, Julio Alonso; sister, Annie Alonso (Jamie) of P.R.; grandchildren, Ian Perez; Brady and Callen Laub.
