In the early 1950’s my father became the pastor of Rosemont Lutheran church. Our family moved into the parsonage at 621 16th Avenue, which was located about 2 doors away from the Hinkle Funeral Home. Scott and I quickly became best friends until my family moved to North Wales in 1957 and then to Illinois. I had often thought about Scott and wondered where he was and how he was doing. A couple of years ago I decided to see if I could locate Scott and I found that he was still living in Bethlehem. We communicated and I drove to Bethlehem and met Scott at his home. We had not see each other in over 60 years but we picked up right where we left off in 1957. It was amazing to me to see how much we still had in common. Our family values, politics, interests, and hobbies were parallel, so similar in fact that both of us had owned and restored a Model A Ford. I am still in shock over his passing. I will miss the phone conversations and lunches we shared during the past 2 years, Scott was my oldest friend and one of the last links to the wonderful childhood we enjoyed together. Rest In Peace Scott
