Marion Ruth (Unley) Kuester, 94, of Bethlehem, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, September 9. She was the wife of the late F. Edwin Kuester for 55 years prior to his death in 2003. Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania on August 10, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Herman Unley and Mabel (Lucker) Unley. She was a member of the Grace Church and First Presbyterian Church of Bethlehem where she served as a former Deacon and Friendly Visitor. She served as a volunteer for Northeast Ministries and Westminster Village. She was a graduate of Scranton Central High School and attended Lackawanna College. She was a devoted wife and mother to her 5 children and a cherished friend, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother and great grandmother. Marion enjoyed her Bridge Club friends, her many companion cats and dogs through the years, and a lifelong tradition of spending her summers with family at Lake Carey, PA
Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her 3 daughters, 2 sons, 8 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren: Daughters, Lucinda Brown (Paul) of Tunkhannock, PA, Cassandra Kuester (Jason), Deborah Minck, (Robert), Newville, PA; Sons, Mark (Sara) of Lower Saucon Township; Kyle (Lisa) of Lower Macungie, PA
Services: - a private memorial will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements: JAMES FUNERAL HOME, Bethlehem, PA.
