Nelson Gomez, 71, of Bethlehem, passed away suddenly on October 16, 2021 in Overlook Hospital, Summit NJ. He was the beloved husband of Maria Gomez Urena. Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, he was a son of Maria Gomezand the late Nelson Turbides. He was a maintenance engineer for 20 years, working at the Empire State Building in NY before retiring. He was a parishioner of Holy Infancy R. C. Church, Bethlehem.

Survivors: He is also survived by his son, Carlos Gomez and his wife Joselin; daughters, Annette Pena and her husband Kelvin, Janet Gomez, 4 brothers, 2 sisters and 4 grandchildren.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 P.M. and on Wednesday from 9:00 - 9:30 A.M. in the James Funeral Home, 527 Center Street, Bethlehem. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday at Holy Infancy R. C. Church. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
