Patricia (Patty) Zurick, 73, returned to her heavenly home on August 24, 2021 after a valiant battle with cancer.
Patty was born in Bethlehem, PA, daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Zurick. She is survived by her boyfriend/husband Dwight Schaffner; brother Charles Zurick/wife Sharon; sister Barbara Frickert/spouse Lester; nephew Brandon Zurick; nieces Hayley Bedics, Tami Kurzeja, Tiffany Frickert, and Tracy Frickert.

She held an unwavering faith in God. Her career was one of service to others: as an RN at St. Lukes Hospital; Director of CCU and Emergency at St Lukes; Director of Nursing at Manor Care; Advanced Legal Nurse Consultant; member Medical Reserve Corps city of Bethlehem; and state of Pennsylvania; NADONA member; Hogar Crea nurse. She also served on the Bethlehem Board of Health.

Patty was a firm believer in the sanctity of family, dedication to every patient and her staff family. She was a member of Holy Infancy R. C. Church.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Friday from 6-8:00 PM and Saturday from 10-11:00 AM followed by her funeral service at 11:00 AM all in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center St., Bethlehem. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery. More info at www.jamesfuneralhome.org.
