Rita Augugliaro, 86, of Bethlehem, entered eternal life on Friday evening, May 31, 2019, while in the care of her family and the staff of Alexandria Manor, Bethlehem. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Augugliaro. Born in Manhattan, NY, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Enrica (Pretti) Paternoster. She was a Blood Donor Coordinator at Maimonides Medical Center in New York, for many years before retiring in 1998. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

She is survived by her children, Vincent Augugliaro Sr. (Barbara) of Brewster, NY; RoseMarie Kane of Brooklyn, NY; Maria D'Adamo (Mark) of Blakeslee, PA; AnnMarie Gilbert (Eric) of Bethlehem; Nicholas Augugliaro (Kendra) of West Babylon, NY; brothers and sisters, Bruna Paternoster; Gilda Cutry; James Paternoster; Anthony Paternoster; Josephine Grundstrom; Mariann Brennan; Grandchildren, Mark D'Adamo Jr.; Amanda D'Adamo; Megan D'Adamo; John Gilbert; Thomas Augugliaro, Vincent Augugliaro Jr.; Brandon Augugliaro; Kristina Kane; great grandchildren, Mark D'Adamo III; Bryce D'Adamo; Leah D'Adamo; and Joseph Guercio Jr.. She was preceded in death by a sister, Edith Paternoster.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday evening from 6-8:00 p.m. with the Rosary to be recited at 8:00p.m. and on Friday morning from 10:30-11:00 a.m. all from the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center Street, Bethlehem. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 A.M. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Bethlehem. Entombment of ashes will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery following Mass.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, Rita requested contributions be made to Covenant House or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital C/O the funeral home.
