Obituary for Robert Lee Robbins Jr.

Robert Lee Robbins, Jr., 73, of Bethlehem, passed away suddenly in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill, after a brief illness on Sunday morning, November 1, 2020. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Robert L. Sr. and Queen Esther (Darby) Robbins. He was a graduate of of Liberty High School and worked for many years as a janitor in the former Martin Tower of Bethlehem Steel. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors: He is survived by his sister, Mary Valverde and her husband,Luis of Bethlehem and nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a brother, George Robbins in 2008.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday afternoon from 1-2:00 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. all in the James Funeral Home, 527 Center St., Bethlehem. Cremation will be private.
Due to the continued national health crisis, Masks and Social Distancing will be observed in the funeral home.
