Svetlana Medvetskaya, 82, of Palmer Twp., passed away peacefully in the home of her daughter on Saturday, April 11, 2020. She was the wife of the late Yuri Medvetskiy. Born in Kiev Ukraine, she was a daughter of the late Sergey and Valentina (Umrilova) Dvornikov. She worked as a nurse for over 40 years in the Ukraine before retiring and moving to the United States. She was of Orthodox faith and a member of St. John's Orthodox Church in Alpha, NJ.

Survivors: She is survived by her daughters, Ekaterina Smolyar (husband, Sergey) of Palmer Twp.; Valeria Gorokhov (husband, Vadym) of Canada; grandchildren, Simona Stelma (husband, Mark), Karolina Slover (husband, Frankie) and Ivan Gorokhov (wife, Gyulchay).

Services: Funeral services will be scheduled once the restrictions due to COVID-19 have lifted. Please keep the family in your prayers during this difficult time. Arrangements entrusted to JAMES FUNERAL HOME, Bethlehem.
