Obituary for Thelma D. Hackett

Thelma Hackett, 88, of Easton, passed away peacefully in her home on June 21, 2020 and enter the presence of her Lord and Saviour. She was the wife of the late Robert Hackett who passed in 1992. Born in Rockvlile, PA, she was the daughter of the late Horace G. and Mayme E. (Reph) Harper. Mainly a homemaker, she also worked several years in maintenance for the Northampton County Housing Authority and helped in maintenance at the senior highrises in Easton. She was a devout Christian and was a member of the former Body of Christ Pentacostal Church.

Survivors: She is survived by her sons, Warren Grube and Dennis Grube, daughter, Sharon Koenig; brother, Edward Harper; sister, Jeanette Gold, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Charles, Horace Jr. and Webster Harper and sister, Florence O'Rourke.

Services: Services will be private and at the convenience of her family. Arrangements entrusted to James Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
