One vivid memory of Grammy is her tube of lipstick she kept in her bra. Before I would leave her house she would take out the tube, put some on, smack her lips together, and say, "Come here. Give Grammy a kiss." She would then grab my face with both of her hands and plant a bright red lipstick mark on my cheek. I was so embarrassed to leave her house with the mark on my face. Do you know how hard it is to get lipstick off?
I carried her tradition with me when I worked at Good Shepherd. Well, all but the bra part.
Goodbye to my best friend. I went to call you yesterday out of habit. I miss you already.

My memory of Grammy is her red lipstick. She always had a tube inside her bra. Right before I would leave her house she would take it out, put some on, smack her lips and say "come here, give grammy a kiss." She would proceed to grab my face with both of her hands and plant a bright red lipstick mark on my cheek. I was so embarrassed leaving her house with that on my cheek. Do you know how hard it is to get lipstick off?
I followed through with that tradition while working at Good Shepherd. Except for the bra part.
Goodbye to my best friend. Out of habit, I went to call you yesterday. I already miss you.
