Obituary for W. Tyrone Lewis

Print
William Tyrone Lewis was born in Baltimore, Maryland on October 3, 1940, to the late Charles Lewis and Willie (Corprew) Lewis. He shared 57 years of a loving marriage with his wife Barbara M. Lewis and to their union their loving son Darrell Tyrone Lewis. He entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on August 21, 2021.

This man of God is best remembered as was said so eloquently by Jean: He was a “Gentleman”. That’s a word you don’t hear much anymore. It brings to mind a certain kind of man who is thoughtful, caring, considerate, and all too uncommon these days. But that’s exactly who he was. A Gentleman, a loving man of God, Tyrone, a rare and special man who deserves the best life can bring who now has eternal life with God our Father.

Tyrone leaves to cherish many loving memories his loving wife, Barbara M. Lewis, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; their son, Darrell Tyrone Lewis, Brooklyn, New York, two cousins Gwendolyn Hughes, Baltimore, Maryland, Barbara Corprew, Washington, DC, a host of family friends which includes a beloved Aunt, Dorothy E Bridgers, Baltimore, Maryland.
