Alice T. Tobey, 81, of Allentown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 in Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was the beloved wife of Dix A Tobey, with whom she shared over 62 years of marriage. Born in Albany, NY, she was a daughter of the late George and Loretta (Thornton) Abriel. Alice enjoyed raising her 5 children and caring for her family and was of the Catholic faith. Alice also loved bowling, crosswords, Sinatra and cooking for her family. She will be dearly missed.

Survivors: in addition to her husband Dix, she is survived by her children, Charlene Burns of Schenectady, NY; Sandra Parker of Pittsford, NY; David Tobey (Robin) of Sparrow Bush, NY; Donald Tobey of Sweden; Karen Steele (Brian) of Slatington; sister, Joyce Frechette of Albany, NY; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Loretta Abriel, sisters, Ruth Stangle and Joan Jones and son-in-law, William Burns.
