Obituary

Anthony D. Vallera Jr., 75, of Palmer Twp., passed away suddenly in St. Luke's Hospital - Warren on January 7, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Linda (Hayes) Vallera, with whom he shared 45 years of marriage. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Anthony and Ethel (Jawback) Vallera. He was a graduate of Easton High School and served in the Army Reserves. He worked as an electrician ( one of the "Final 13") at Bethlehem Steel for 35 years before retiring and then continued working with IBEW Local 102 in NJ.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, Linda, he is survived by his daughter, Farah L. Vallera of Bethlehem; stepdaughter, Stephanie L. Mathers of Bethlehem and grandson Dawson T. Bochini who lived with them and whom he was very close. He was preceded in death by his brother Nicholas Vallera.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his graveside service on Thursday, Jan. 14th at 11:00 A.M. at Northampton Memorial Shrine Cemetery, 3051 Green Pond Rd., Easton. Arrangements entrusted to JAMES FUNERAL HOME, Bethlehem. Masks and social distancing will be observed.
