Barbara Gottshall

Barbara Gottshall, 79, of Allentown, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday evening, October 8, 2026. She was the beloved wife of Edward R. Gottshall, with whom she shared 0ver 59 years of marriage. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Grace (Evans) DeCenzo. She graduated from Liberty High School in 1964 and attended Cedar Crest College. Barbara worked as a bank teller for many years at Merchant’s Bank, which later became Wells Fargo, retiring as a manager in 2000.

Survivors: In addition to her husband, Edward, she is survived by her daughter, Alicia Warren; son, Eric Gottshall (Chena); 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Tuesday, October 20th, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM followed by a memorial service at 7:00 PM all at the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center St., Bethlehem. Entombment of cremated remains will be later at Bethlehem Memorial Park.
