Barbara J. Jones, 79, of Bethlehem, passed away on December 30, 2015, in ManorCare, Bethlehem. Born in Harlem, NY; she was a daughter of the late George and Estelle Collins. She worked many years as a CNA before retiring and was a life long member of St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, Queens, NY.

Survivors: She is survived by her son, Tirek E. Jones and his wife Nyamka of Bethlehem; brother, Joseph Cornelius of TN; sister, Margarett Barclift of Washington, DC; sister in law, Ernestine Pugh; 9 grandchildren, Tirek Jr., Shaquasia, Kayla, Trevon, Amir, Saniyah, Risa, Dominique, Christian and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter, Sharon Brown, 4 brothers, Martin Collins; George Collins, Jr.; Leon Collins; William A. Collins and a grandson, Ronald Brown.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing, Sunday, January 3, 2016, from 2:30-4:00 p.m. in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center St. Bethlehem, followed by a funeral service at 4:00 p.m. After cremation, Barbara will be interred with her family in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
