Bernard D. Coon, Jr. 62 of Easton, passed away May 5, 2016 in Easton Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Gloria (Sandt) Coon. They were married 36 years in January. Born in Easton, he was a son of the late Bernard Coon, Sr. and Joyce (Tillman) Wise. He was a truck driver for many years with SMP Trucking of NJ, before retiring. He loved to spend time at the family homestead on the mountain top of Mt. Zion in W.V., where he loved to hunt and will be laid to rest in the Coon family cemetery. He was a member of Holy Faith Pentecostal Church, Bethlehem.

Survivors: In addition to his wife Gloria, he is survived by his children, Apryl Vaxter; Bernard Vaxter (Keely); Perlena Stamets (Adam); Bernard D. Coon III; Nathan Coon; sisters, Etta Coon; Kelly Collins; and 5 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister Susie Glanz in 2005. Services will be private at the convenience of his family.
