Betty E. Metz, 93, of Bethlehem, passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2017 in Phoebe Home, Allentown. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late James and Emily (Lynn) Ruth. She worked many years for Mack Credit Union and later Peoples First. She was a devoted member of member of Christ Church UCC of Bethlehem, where she volunteered and was the Church Custodian for many years.

Survivors: she is survived her nephews, Eric J. Ruth and his wife, Grayce of Bethlehem; Ron Ruth of Thornedale; nieces, Lynne Lee of Bethlehem; Linda Siptroth of Shawnee and many great nieces and nephews.

Services: Graveside services in Bethlehem Memorial Park will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, Bethlehem.
