Carol E. Thompson Moller, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at the age of 81 in the care of LVHN Muhlenberg Hospice and presence of family.
Carol was the eldest daughter of the late Richard and Eloise Thompson. She was predeceased by her sister, MaryAnn Thompson-Lillie and her eldest son, Thomas R. Moller. She is survived by her former husband, C. Richard Moller, daughters, Georgine Moller Born and Cynthia (Cindy) Moller, her youngest son, Jeffrey Moller, her grandson Adam C Wendell and his fiancée, Laura Guinther and her great-granddaughter, Serenity Wendell.
After graduating from Liberty High School, she attended Westminster Choir College in Princeton, NJ. She was the Director of Music for Epworth United Methodist Church serving 20yrs ending in 1984 followed by 30yrs caring for patients as a visiting nurse for SLUHN Visiting Nurses and Hospice. She was also recognized by the VNA for her outstanding patient documentation and her expertise was used to train future staff. Carol will be remembered by her patients and their family for the compassionate care, kindness and respect she gave to them.
Carol was a two-time cancer survivor. Her strength and perseverance were admirable. Her family and friends will remember her most for her soft-spoken manner, caring nature, her strength, her love of music and her laughter.
Carol's personal life was filled with the joy of her family and her love of music. She enjoyed many Transbridge Bus Trips with her son, Jeffrey. In her senior years, she continued caring for others and enjoyed watching movies. Some of her repeat favorites were Forrest Gump, Top Gun, The Longest Yard, Sweet Home Alabama, Legally Blonde and any Adam Sandler movie.
Services: Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday, January 23rd from 9:30 to 10:30 AM followed by a funeral service at 10:30 AM all at the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center St., Bethlehem. Burial will be at Bethlehem Memorial Park.
