Obituary

Catherine E. Fodero, 80, of Bethlehem, entered the nearer presence of the Lord, on Friday, February 11, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Franklin A. Fodero Sr. with whom she shared 63 years of marriage. Born in Richlandtown, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Elizabeth (Klotz) Leonard. She worked as an assembler and lab tech for many years for Lutron Electronics and later at Baker Industries until retiring. She was a member of Steel City Mennonite Church.

Survivors: She is survived by her daughter, Toni Fodero Cressman and her husband, John of Hellertown; son, Gino Fodero and his partner, Richard Nazarro of Rehoboth Beach DE; sisters, Mercyna Yoder and her husband Ralph, Patricia Gilbert and her husband Dennis; brothers, Gene Leonard and his wife Sandy, Stephen Leonard sister in laws Shirley Leonard, Eleanor Leonard; 7 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son Franklin A. Fodero Jr.; brothers, Edison Leonard, Wilson Leonard, and sister, Gloria Wachter.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022 from 10:00-11:00 A.M. followed by a funeral service at 11:00 A.M. all in the Steel City Mennonite Church, 2137 Mixsell Ave., Bethlehem, PA 18015 (Lower Saucon Twp.). Burial will be in Old Williams Church Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to James Funeral Home. A mask or facial covering is strongly encouraged for the viewing and service.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Church.
