Charles W. Mourar Jr., 78, of Bushkill - Lehman Township, passed away peacefully on Friday evening, April 12, 2024 in Easton, PA. Born in Charleston, WV, and raised in Pottstown, PA, he was the only son of the late Charles W. Sr. and Mary A. (Beaudet) Mourar. His love of nature, the outdoors, and hunting and fishing began at a young age at his family's cabin in the Pocono Mountains, where he would return to live later in life.

After college, Charles began a career as a Structural Steel Engineer working in the nuclear industry with United Engineers, which later became a division of Raytheon Company. Throughout his life, Charles actively sought new hobbies to master and was a life-long learner and craftsman. He was an avid gardener, jewelry maker, wood turner, cook, fly fishermen, and fly rod maker. Of these, he found immense joy in collecting, polishing, and crafting rocks and precious stones. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and wit, his love of life, and his insatiable curiosity.

He is survived by his daughters, Stacey Whitfield, Andrea Mourar, Alora Stegall, and Claire Wilkerson (Chad Wilkerson); sisters, Joan Reynolds, Jackie Garges, and Marilyn Conbeer (Edward Conbeer); and grandchildren, Wyatt Whitfield, Morgan Whitfield, Blaise Epperson, and Breckin Delamora. He was preceded in death by his sister, Frances Mourar, and brother-in-law, Jack Garges.

Services: A celebration of Charles's life will be held on June 29 at 2 pm at his sister's home, 218 Rosedale Dr. Pottstown, PA. Arrangements entrust to James Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
