Rev. Constance A. Martin, 78, of Forks Twp., passed away while in hospice care at Old Orchard Health Care Center, Palmer Twp. She was the wife of Richard Martin, Sr. and together they shared over 60 years of marriage..

Born in Hackettstown, NJ, she was a daughter of the late Andy and Alice (Funk) Hamilton.

She received her Master's of Divinity and later her Doctorate from Drew University. She served in the Methodist Church for many years at various churches in NJ and NY, last serving as pastor of Tranquility United Methodist Church in Tranquility, NJ.

Survivors: In addition to her husband, Richard, Sr. she is survived by a son, Richard Martin, Jr. and his wife Kim, of Palmer twp.; daughters, Debbie Stevens and her husband Dennis, of Marshalls Creek; Margie Hillpot and her husband Robert, of Phillipsburg; a sister, Frances Crolla of NJ; 2 stepbrothers and 5 grandchildren.
