Obituary

David Lugo, 82, of Bethlehem, passed away suddenly on Monday evening, July 1, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Adelaida (Galarza) Lugo with whom he shared 56 years of marriage. Born in Camuy, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Felipe N. and Providencia (Roman) Lugo. He served in the U. S. Army during Vietnam and received his BA in Accounting from Brooklyn College and worked for Citibank for many years before retiring. He was a parishioner of Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church.

Survivors: in addition to his wife, Adelaida, he is survived by his son, David C. Lugo (wife, Meredith) of Ambler; daughter, Christel M. Lugo (husband, Michael Ticehurst) of Jersey City, brother, Wilfredo Lugo, sister, Ines Lugo; and granddaughter, Charlotte M. Lugo.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday, July 6th 9-10:30 AM followed by a Prayer Service at 10:30 AM all in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center St. Bethlehem. Burial will follow in Holy Saviour Cemetery.
