David Michael Marsh Sr., 84, formerly of West Chester, PA, died on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at the St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem, PA. He was the beloved husband of the late Patricia S. Marsh who passed in 2014. David was born on June 7, 1940, in Upper Darby, Pa., but grew up in Concordville, PA. He was the son of the late Manlius G. Marsh and Agnes G. Marsh (Spory). He graduated from Media High School in 1958.
After high school, David served in the United States Army. David was a retired operating engineer for the Commerce Construction Corporation and a long-time member of the Local 542 Union. David was also a member and the former president of the Chester County Antique Car Club, and a member of the Early Ford V-8 Club.
From an early age, David was very mechanically minded, and as a result, his friends and family members would ask him for advice or help fixing and restoring their vehicles and tractors. David was a John Deere, Nascar, and Ford enthusiast. David still owned his first car, a 1954 Business Coupe, which he purchased when he was just seventeen years old. It has become one of his most cherished possessions and part of his legacy.
Survivors: David is survived by his son, David M. Marsh Jr. (Jodi) of Perkasie, Pa.; grandson Devin; and sister Katieanne Harrison of Branchville, NJ.
Services: A celebration of life (antique car) event will be scheduled in the spring. A date and time will be announced. David and his wife, Patricia loved their animals dearly especially their dear dog, Dede'.
