Dennis B. Donchez passed away peacefully on November 3, 2024, at the age of 79. Born to the late Frank and Helen (Hess) Donchez, Dennis was a devoted husband to Helga for 54 loving years, embodying kindness, strength, and warmth throughout his life. His legacy of love lives on in his family and all those whose lives he touched.

A proud veteran, Dennis served in the U.S. Air Force, where he spent time stationed in Germany. It was there that he met the love of his life, Helga. Their bond was immediate and profound, leading to a beautiful marriage that spanned over five decades.

Dennis dedicated much of his career to serving his community, working at Bethlehem Steel for 28 years and later at the Bethlehem Area School District for 16 years. His hard work, integrity, and commitment to excellence were evident in all that he did, leaving a lasting impact on those who had the privilege to work alongside him.

Dennis was raised in a close-knit family as one of five siblings, sharing cherished bonds with his brothers Frank C. Donchez, Ronald J. Donchez (Sharon), and Thomas F. Donchez (Sheela), and his sister Beverly Donchez Bradley (Daniel). He was a loving father to his son, Dennis, and a proud grandfather to his beloved granddaughter, Leah Donchez, who brought him immense pride and joy.

Known for his generous spirit, quick wit, and steadfast loyalty, Dennis approached life with a steady heart and a gentle soul. His family and friends will remember him as someone who always put others before himself and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. His dedication to his family and the countless memories he created with them will forever be treasured.

In honoring his life, we hold close the countless memories he leaves behind. His spirit, laughter, and wisdom will remain forever in our hearts.
