Edgar Moreira

Edgar Moreira, 86, of Bethlehem, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the beloved husband of Rosa Lilian. (Argenal) Moreira, with whom he shared over 52 years of marriage. Born in Ocotepeque, Honduras and raised in the Catholic faith, he was a son of the late Jesus M. Dubon-Lopez and Paz Moreira. He worked in computer programing for J. P.Morgan Chase for 42 years before retiring in 2010.

Survivors: in addition to his wife Rosa, he is survived by his sons, Edgar Moreira Jr., Alan Moreira (Danielle), Steven Moreira, David Moreira (Sara), Adam Moreira; 4 grandchildren, Richard, Vivian, AJ, and Alexander.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 11:00AM to 1:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM all in the James Funeral Home 527 Center Street, Bethlehem. Cremation will follow the services. Burial will be later at the convenience of the family.
