Eileen Marie Mackie, 88, of Breinigsville, formerly of Fountain Hill, passed away on October 16, 2016 in Cedarbrook-Fountain Hill Annex. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward R. Mackie. Together they shared 58 years of marriage before his passing on October 6, 2014. Born in Providence RI, She was a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Keenan) Kenney. She was a graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing in Providence where she began her nursing career and later worked for many years as a nurse at Muhlenberg Hospital in Bethlehem before retiring in 1985. She was a former member of St. Ursula's Catholic Church in Fountain Hill and St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Orefield.

Survivors: She is survived by her children, Stephen Mackie (Carleen) of Fountain Hill; Timothy Mackie of Nazareth; Christopher Mackie of Nazareth; Marybeth Benko (Steve) of Maryland; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Services:A viewing will take place this Wednesday morning from 8:30 - 9:30 A.M. in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME 527 Center Street, Bethlehem followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. in Holy Ghost R.
