Ethel B. Benner, 97, of Bethlehem, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 in Riverton Nursing and Rehab facility Allentown. She was the beloved wife of the late Lester T. Benner who passed in 1999. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Milton and Ethel (Reed) Bissey. She was a secretary for many years for the former Dodig Insurance Co. before retiring and also was a parachute maker for the former U.S. Gage Co. during WWII. She was a member of Trinity UCC Church, Bethlehem.

Survivors: She is survived by her children, Christine Richards (David), Gail Jones (Theodore), Nancy Kichline (Gerry), George Shively, step children, The late Patricia Wheeler, Rebecca Hitcho (The late Michael), Victoria Prosperi (William), Jessica Agentis (James) and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by 6 brothers and sisters.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Wednesday, April 5th. from 9:00-9:45A.M. followed by a brief funeral service at 9:45A.M. all from JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center Street, Bethlehem. Ethel will be laid to rest along with her husband in Washington Crossing National Cemetery following the service.
