Frances Nellie Brown, 99, previously of Bethlehem, passed away March 12, 2017, in Nazareth. Born in Egypt, PA, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes (Bochnak) Zima. She married her beloved husband Joseph Gregory Brown, Jr. in 1940, and enjoyed a happy marriage until his passing in 1988. She was a waitress for 25 years at the former Walps Restaurant in Allentown where she made many friends before retiring and was of the Catholic faith. Most of all, Frances was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking for the entire family and loved family gatherings.

Survivors: survived by her daughter, Nancy A. George and her husband David of Walnutport; grandchildren, David George Jr. (Deborah); Christopher George, Susan Anthony (Michael); Amy Kolesnik (fiance Chad Seeley); Richard Holland; Joseph Holland (Samantha) many great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Fay Frances Williams and many brothers and sisters.
