Obituary

Frances Teresa Ghiringhelli, 74, of Bethlehem Twp., passed away peacefully in her home on August 6, 2020. She was the beloved wife of John C. Ghiringhelli. Born in DunLaughaire (County Dublin) Ireland, she was a daughter of the late John and Margaret (Bell) Pierce. Throughout her life she worked in various retail jobs but most notable was in a call center for Beneficial Savings Bank in Bethlehem. She was also a parishioner of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, where she was an active member of the choir for many years until her illness.

Survivors: In addition to her husband, John, she is also survived by her daughter, Sarah Beth Ghiringhelli of Mt Pleasant, South Carolina, a brother, Sean Pierce; sisters, Betty Ettie; Maureen Kelly all of Ireland; 4 grandchildren, Nicholas, John Michael, Kaitlin and Robert. She was preceded in death by sisters, Connie Reddin, Joan O'Rielly and a brother, James Pierce.

Services: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, funeral services and Mass will be scheduled after the restrictions have been lifted. Burial of ashes will be in Deansgrange (AKA: Deans Grange)Cemetery in Blackrock (County Dublin), Ireland. Arrangements are entrusted to the James Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
