Frank J. Melanson, Jr., of Bethlehem, formerly of Passaic County, NJ, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018, in Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth, PA. He was the beloved husband of the late, Lorraine (Schrouder) Melanson who passed away in 2016. Born in Warwick Twp. Bucks county, he was a son of the late Frank J. Sr. and Frances (Johnson) Melanson and served in the U. S. Army during the occupation of Okinawa. He was a typesetter for Hawthorne Press for many years before retiring and was a former member of Grace United Methodist Church, Wyckoff, NJ.

Survivors: He is survived by his stepson, John Fuchs (Connie) of Bethlehem Twp.; stepdaughters, Carol Chapen (Frank) of New Jersey; Karen Clark of Wyoming and 3 grandchildren.

Services: Services will be private and at the convenience of the family with entombment of ashes at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to JAMES FUNERAL HOME, Bethlehem, PA. Condolences may be offered at www.jamesfuneralhome.org.
