Frankie Edward Stanton, 70, of Hellertown, formerly of Bethlehem, was received into the arms of the Lord on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Bailey) Stanton. Born in Maxton, NC, he was a son of the late Carse W. and Rose Mae (Purcell) Stanton. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Allen University in South Carolina. Later he attended Kutztown University, where he received a Master's degree in counseling. He worked as a counselor for 34 years at Northampton Community College, Bethlehem, retiring in 2009 and was a member of Grace Deliverance Baptist Church.

Survivors: In addition to his wife,Patricia, he is survived by son, Shawn Williams and his wife Yvonne of Harleysville, Nephew/Son, Richard Stanton of MN; brothers, Robert Stanton and his wife Brenda, Carse Stanton, Wilfred Stanton, Michael Stanton; Anthony Stanton; sisters, Rosie Stanton, Molly "Laverne" Stanton, Michelle Stanton; 7 grandchildren, Kieara Williams, Shateza Williams, Shakira Williams, Jared Williams, Jacob T. Stanton, Zachary Stanton, Landon L. Stanton; and 3 great grandchildren, Madasyn, Aavehya and Marlie Calhoun.
Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday evening, November 25th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center Street, Bethlehem; and on Saturday morning November 26th from 9:30-10:30a.m. in Grace Deliverance Baptist Church, 74 E. Broad Street, Bethlehem followed by the funeral service at 10:30 a.m.
