Obituary

G. Adam Adamcik, 81, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, March 31, 2025, in Holy Family Manor, Bethlehem. He was the beloved husband of Maureen (Miller) Adamcik with whom he shared 42 years of marriage. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mary (Palencar) Adamcik. After completing seminary studies at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, he was ordained a Catholic Priest for the Diocese of Allentown, later leaving the priesthood to follow a different vocation. He worked in insurance sales for many years with Nationwide Insurance Company retiring in 2013. Adam then followed his passion for antiques and anything that still had use and began dealing in appraisals, sales of estate contents and furniture from several locations including his home. For several years he had a stall at the Weil Antique Center in Allentown.

Survivors: In addition to his wife, Maureen, he is survived by a brother Robert Adamcik, several nieces, nephews and cousins as well as extended family.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday, April 5th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM all at St. Anne's Catholic Church, Easton Ave at Washington Streets, Bethlehem. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to JAMES FUNERAL HOME, Bethlehem.
