Obituary

Genevieve L. Curzi Glancy, 94, of Bethlehem, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025 in St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the beloved wife of the late John "Jack" Glancy Jr., with whom she shared 55 years of marriage before his passing in 2008. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late John Sr. and Antoinette M. (DeSentis) Curzi. She was a proud graduate of Liberty H. S. Class of 1948. She worked at the former Orr's Department Store for many years as a Clerk before retiring. A devout Catholic, she was faithful to saying her rosary and was a parishioner of the former Our Lady of Pompeii of The Most Holy Rosary Church, Bethlehem and more recently at St. Ursula's Catholic Church in Fountain Hill.

She is survived by her son, Brian K. Glancy; daughter, Denise M. Glancy; 3 grandchildren, Craig, Bradley, Zachariah, 2 great granddaughters, Briana and Lacie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.Preceded in death also by sister and brothers, Mary Curzi and John Jr. Emillio, John III, Marino, Archie, Joseph, Donald, and Robert Curzi.

Services: Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Sunday, Dec. 14th from 5-7:00 PM at the JAMES FUNERAL HOME, 527 Center St., Bethlehem and to her Funeral Mass on Monday, Dec. 15th at 10:30 AM at Holy Infancy Catholic Church, 312 E. 4th Street, Bethlehem.
