Obituary

George J. Mosko, 75 of Bethlehem, passed away on Monday February 6, 2017 in Easton Hospital. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late George and Margaret (Angel) Mosko. A chef by trade, he was known throughout the restaurant community both in the Lehigh Valley and Dallas, Texas, where his career began. He was inducted into the Confrerie de la Chaine des Rotissuers and served as president for the Dallas Culinary Association. He received many accolades while employed at the Hotel Bethlehem in the 1970's as the Director of Catering and later he became owner of the Moorestown Inn, which he operated for more than 10 years. He will always be remembered for his passion for cooking, the enjoyment received from having had a good meal and the pride he held for his family. He was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors: daughters, Natalie Rose Lauer of Bethlehem, Stephanie Heather (Scott) of Canton OH, son, Michael Mosko (Wendy) of Quakertown, 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
