Georgene A. Seifert, 82, of Catasauqua, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2023 in Lehigh Valley Hospital – Muhlenberg. She and her husband, Richard J. Seifert, Jr., shared 40 years of marriage.Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Edward Ressler, Sr. and Helen (Czar) Ressler. Georgene was a 1959 graduate of William Allen High School. She worked as a Lab Technician at B-Braun Medical for 39 years, until retiring in 2003. Georgene was an avid sports fan who followed the Phillies, Penn State, the Eagles and the Iron Pigs. She loved to play the piano and guitar. Georgene was also on a bowling league for many years.Survivors: Her loving husband, Rich; daughters, Cheryl Beil (David) and Laurie Lower (Bill); step-children, Jonathan Seifert (Tina), Heidi Seifert (Clark), Gretchen Tesche and Laura Seifert; sisters, Bonnie, Debbie Jane and Shelly; 6 grandchildren, 4 step-grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Georgene was preceded in death by a daughter Debra Tertusek, a brother Edward Ressler, Jr. and a grandson Corey Tertusek.Services: Private, at Georgene's request.
