Gunther H. Klaus, 83, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022 in St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. He was the beloved husband of the late Brenda Klaus with whom he shared 55 years of marriage before her passing in 2021. Born in Manhattan, New York City, he was a son of the late Bruno and Maria Klaus. He was a graduate of Southern Illinois University and taught for 27 years in the Longwood School District in Long Island NY, retiring in 1996. He and his late wife were former parishioners of St. Peter's R. C. Church in Plattsburgh NY.

Survivors: He is survived by his son, Haagen Klaus (Jenny) of Gainesville VA, and a brother, Bruno Klaus. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Erica.

Services: Services will be at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to James Funeral home, Bethlehem.
