Hector T. Ramirez of Wilson Boro, passed away unexpectedly in Easton Hospital on June 21, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Raquel (Morales) Ramirez, who passed away in 2014. Born in Ambato Ecuador, he was a son of the late Ruben and Transito (Guerrero) Ramirez. Hector came to the Unites States as a young man in pursuit of a better future for his children. His proudest moment was when he became a US Citizen in 1992. He worked as a maintenance worker for many years in a residential school for children with disabilities in western Massachusetts before retiring. Hector was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors: Daughters: Diana O'Brien and husband Robert, Ligia Lastra (widow of the late Cesar Lastra), Patricia Aldas and husband Guido, Maria Pinaud and husband Leonard, Isabel Collins and husband Andrew; son, Hector H. Ramirez and wife Ana; brother, Jorge Ramirez; sister, Enriqueta Ramirez; 18 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Services: Services will be private. Hector will be laid to rest with his beloved wife in Ecuador
