Herbert E. Snyder, Jr., 91, of Catasauqua, formerly of Bethlehem, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020, in ManorCare Health Services - Easton. He was the beloved husband of Carol (Makos) Snyder. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Herbert Sr. and Mary R. (Williams) Snyder. he was a graduate of Wm Allen High School and entered the U.S. Navy serving during the Korean Conflict and later joined the U.S. Army. He worked as a machinist for Crowder Jr. Company in Bethlehem for many years before retiring and was a former member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.

In addition to his wife Carol, he is survived by his sons, Gary Snyder of Easton; Dale Snyder (Pamela) of Lehighton; brother, Bruce F. Snyder; sisters, Fern Cox, Betty Dieroff,and stepsister Elaine Bowers.

Services: Services are at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to James Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
