James L. Montone, 80, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 12, 2021. He was the life partner of 55 years to John Ellis whom he married in 2013. Born in Hazleton, he was the son of the late Philip and Connie (Zambotti) Montone. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Bethlehem. Jim, served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was employed as a radiology technologist for 30 years and after retirement he was owner and manager along with his partner of John Ellis Beauty Salon and several rental properties.
Survivors: In addition to his spouse, John of Bethlehem; he is also survived by a sister, Carmella Diehl of Hazleton, 5 nieces and nephews.
