Obituary

Jane Stein-Marken passed away unexpectedly on August 6, 2020.
Born in Queens New York to David and Marjory Sills on October 10, 1951.
She was the wife of Gregory Marken and mother of Jill Blackwood Shaub and granddaughter Harper Shaub.
Her formative years were spent in Centerport New York where she enjoyed sailing and skiing. She led an adventuress life. Currently she lived in Bethlehem Pennsylvania, but she was always a New Yorker at heart.
Jane received her bachelor's degree from the State University of New York Potsdam, attended the University of Illinois Campaign Urbana and Received her master's degree in liberal studies from the State University of New York Stony Brook. She worked for the United States Air Force as an English teacher, spent time as a substitute teacher at John Glen High School. Jane was also employed at the Michael Kessler Agency as a private investigator.
Jane was a good-hearted woman who loved those close to her fiercely and was a devoted friend to all.

Services: Services will be private and at the convenience of her family. Arrangements entrusted to James Funeral home, Bethlehem.
