Jennifer J. Hero, 75, of Bethlehem Twp. , passed away on Monday evening, June 17, 2024, in St. Luke's Hospital-Sacred Heart Campus, Allentown. She was the beloved wife of the late John J. Hero Jr. who passed away in 2009. Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late Carl and Violet (Derwanz) Schroeter.
Jennifer was a graduate of Liberty High School, attended Northampton Community College and worked as a clerk in the business office of St. Luke's Hospital for 20 years before retiring. Most importantly, Jennifer loved her family and enjoyed crafting and caring for her home. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.

Survivors: She is survived by her son, John Hero III (Pamela) of Willet NY; daughter, Jessica J. Lehr (Daniel) of Downingtown; brother, Glade Schroeter of Bethlehem Twp.; grandchildren, Joshua Lehr and Kathryn Lehr.

Services: Graveside services will be private at Holy Saviour Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to James Funeral Home, Bethlehem.
