Jeremiah P Bresnahan, 93, of Palmer Twp and former resident of The Birches, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 in St Luke's Hospice House, Bethlehem, PA. He was the beloved husband of Maureen (Walsh) Bresnahan, with whom he shared 65 years of marriage. Born in New York City, he was the son
of the late Jeremiah and Mary (Carey) Bresnahan. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was a NYC Fireman until 1976. He became licensed as a clinical social worker, Gestalt therapist and New Jersey Certified Drug/Alcohol Counselor and worked as an Employee Assistance Manager for Johnson & Johnson and later had a private practice in his home until 2002.
Survivors: In addition to his wife, Maureen, Jeremiah is survived by his children, Thomas Bresnahan, Laura Ziminski (Mark), Kevin Bresnahan (Mari), Courtney Leonardo (Paul), Maureen Stapleton (Sean), and 10 grandchildren, Matthew, Devon, Daniel, Graham, Shane, Scarlett, Frances, Pierce, Maeve and Finn. He is also
preceded in death by his brother, John Bresnahan.
Services: A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025 by the family (Private). Arrangements entrusted to James Funeral Home, Bethlehem, PA
